Reliable websites

The first Blog I found was mommyspeechtherapy and just by the title I did not think it was going to be a reliable website. So the first thing I decided to click on was the link about the author of this blog. She has been practicing Speech Pathology for about eleven years now which gave her some credibility. Then I looked to see where she got her Bachelor's degree and Master's, which was Utah State University. This University has a great Speech-Language Pathology program. So the fact the the Blog had an information tab about the author and her credentials it made me more comfortable saying it was a reliable source. There were no advertisements on her blog and she wasn't trying to sell anything. The last part of her blog that really convinced me this was a credible source was the fact she is a certified member of ASHA which is American Speech-Hearing Association. People of this organization are specialists, so I decided to use her Blog as a a source of reliable information.

The second Blog I found also seemed to have a lot of information on my field of study. So the first thing I did was try and find information on the author. The information was not too detailed and more on a personal level, but they did have a contact button. There are two authors of this blog, the male works in a medical scene for Speech Pathology and the women works in a school setting. They both share resources to use when looking for information on Speech Pathology, the links include ASHA which is a nationally recognized and certified organization. They don't speak about information, but share links to credible websites. So I am using there blog to get access to multiple other blogs/websites.
